1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GreenBlades website and our booking services for lawn care and related outdoor maintenance. By using our site or scheduling services, you agree to these Terms.

  • GreenBlades provides on-demand and scheduled lawn care in supported service areas.
  • You must be legally capable of entering binding agreements in your jurisdiction.
  • Additional policies may apply to specific services and will be disclosed at booking.

2. Definitions

  • "Client" means a person or entity booking services from GreenBlades.
  • "Service" means any lawn care or outdoor maintenance task performed by us or our partners.
  • "Order" means a booking request confirmed through our website or authorized channels.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your province/territory.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for account activity.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access for any breach or suspected misuse.

4. Bookings and Services

  • Orders are confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation on-screen.
  • Service arrival windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs.
  • Access to the property must be available during the scheduled window.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Prices are quoted before you confirm an Order and are shown in CAD unless stated otherwise.
  • Taxes, surcharges, and add-ons are displayed at checkout where applicable.
  • We may place a temporary authorization hold for fraud prevention and capacity allocation.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations more than 24 hours before the window: no fee.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: a late cancellation fee may apply to recover travel and scheduling costs.
  • No-show (no access at arrival): a callout fee may apply.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Secure pets and clear hazards (toys, hoses, debris) prior to service.
  • Disclose sprinkler layouts, slopes, and known obstacles that may pose risks.
  • Ensure access to power/water if relevant to the booked service.

8. Service Conditions and Weather

  • Unsafe weather or site conditions may require rescheduling at our discretion.
  • Wet lawns may limit mow height or edging to prevent turf damage.
  • We will communicate delays or alternative options where feasible.

9. Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse the site (no scraping, automated abuse, reverse engineering, or harmful content).
  • Do not interfere with bookings or payments, or bypass security controls.
  • Respect staff, property boundaries, and community bylaws.

10. Privacy and Cookies

We collect limited data necessary to process Orders, personalize services, and prevent fraud. See cookie preferences below to manage analytics and marketing cookies. Essential cookies are required for core functionality.

  • We minimize data and retain it only as long as necessary for the stated purposes.
  • You may request access or deletion subject to legal exceptions.
  • Cookie preferences can be adjusted at any time from the banner or preferences modal.

11. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Most concerns can be addressed by contacting our support team. If unresolved, disputes will be handled through negotiation and, if necessary, binding arbitration in British Columbia, Canada, unless prohibited by law.

  • Notify us in writing within 30 days of the issue.
  • Parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for at least 15 days.
  • Arbitration shall be individual; no class actions or class arbitrations.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Services are provided "as available" and "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Total liability is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or the amount paid for the affected Order.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
